what does a single seedling mean for mini tomatoes

Tomato plant pods have 2-4 seeds already sowed on top of the pods so if all the seedlings (small individual plants) germinate and start growing we strongly advise leaving one seedling per pod. All the other seedlings must be pulled out (thinned) because the plant pod gives the best results only if one tomato plant is growing in there. This is the case only with some of our fruiting pods and few flowers, all the other plant pods don’t need thinning.
