Brown spots on leaf and stem

  1. I forgot what plant this is - looks like red hot chili pepper?

  2. There’s brown spots on the leaf and for some reason the stem too! Would anyone know what’s going on? ),;

Could it be sweet pepper?

It seems the plant had some problems with nutrient uptake. That could explain older leaves showing some markings, you may just remove those leaves as young leaves at the top look healthy and it will probably form flower buds soon. Cotyledons aka first leaves are allowed to die back, they have fulfilled their purpose.

The pigmentation on the stem is perfectly normal and there is nothing to worry about.
