it may seem so as it has a built-in 16h ON/ 8 h OFF timer. What kind of garden are you using exactly, Smart Garden 9 or Smart Garden 9 PRO?
I have the smart garden 9 pro
by the way, the iPhone app does what ? because ok I have my garden with the plants plus some stats as how many days but I have not seen anything concerning lights control or anything else ! is that all ?
You can try to completely unpair the lamp, try it without the bluetooth connection to see if the 16/8 hours cycle works like that.
If that is okay then you can try to re-pair the lamp with your mobile device.
