Anyone here tried thinning cockscomb and replanting the thinned ones? I read from C&G plant care guide that it is best to leave one plant per pod (looks prettier) but not sure when to thin and if possible to replant?
Hope someone can help me with my question, thank you in advance
If you have decided to thin your pods, it is best if done when just sprouted or first true leaves have grown. And yes, if you tear out your βextraβ plants with some roots it can be transplanted with success. Later, the roots will be tangled and it may be difficult to separate all plants.
