I tried using leca balls as pod medium and grew mint; basil; holy basil, lettuce; kale; arugula.
While I am happy with the results; the 3 hour monthly cleaning per unit required is something I need to make more efficient.
Has anyone tried this? Would be happy to discuss and exchange pointers.
