If i repot my yellow mini tomatoes, will they not “degrade”?

Hello! I’m hoping for my tomatoes to keep growing and fruiting if that’s possible. However, i read that the plant will degrade after it bears fruit here:

“Once the tomatoes have ripened, the plant will start to degrade. The pod has fulfilled the purpose of its life - to produce fruits that contain its seeds.”

If i repot the plant pod, will it not die? Haha

Hi @mytomatoplant

Unfortunately, Yellow mini tomato will degrade eventually. Some users prefer to repot young plants to fresh soil before the plant pod becomes rootbound to extend its viability a bit.
Using a pro cup instead of a normal cup will have the same positive effect on improved plant health and viability.
