Sweet basil and arm extension

Hello!

Should I use the arm extension for my basil? It´s almost touching the lamp, and I don’t want to get them burnt.

Yeah, I know… but it doesnt have any room to grow… im really new to gardening

Cut half of it off like in the video and it will have room to grow. You get much more basil this way.
