Basil worms or seed coats?

Hi,

Just started a Smart Garden 9. Today is day 6 and I noticed what looks like a flat worm on the Basil plants and a different kind of flat bug on the lettuce. How should I deal with them - do I need to throw the pods out?

The first 3 look like shell husks from the seeds! Are you sure they’re alive?

I think so. When I checked on them again they were in different places from where they were this morning.

Hi @V2LNYC, welcome to the community!

I can ensure you that your plants are safe and no need to throw anything out. Those are seed coats as @Mikey1 already pointed out. They just got stuck on cotyledons (first leaves) and will do no harm.
