Can I take off the germination domes?

Only just got my click and grow!! This is my basil after 4 days and I’m not sure if now is a good time to take off the germination domes or am I supposed to wait until I can see the sprouts come out of the plant cup itself and into the dome??

I just planted mine on Dec 25 and my basil are sprouting nicely too. I read that once the sprouts reach/touch the domes, it’s time to take them off. That’s what I plan on doing. I’ll keep an eye on this post to see what others are doing as I’m learning too

Planted mine Boxing Day - just taking domes off

Do I take off both the dome and the u shaped lid once the plant germinates

Hi @Diane,

Remove the transparent dome once the seeds have germinated.
But it is recommended to leave the u-shaped lids on through the entire plant growth cycle, it keeps the soil nicely intact to the wick and keeps mold and algae away.

Happy growing!
