Plastic Cups

I’ve seen some people using clear plastic cups as a larger dome to promote growth. I’ve contemplated doing this as my cat tore out some of my chives and I added some seeds to the remaining seedlings.

Is this harmful to the remaining ones? Could I do this to help promote growth on my other plants?

I guess the next best thing is just to try it out. Under the “large” dome humidity may become too high and some plants dislike it. Let us know if it worked for your plants!
