Wild strawberry plants and direct sun light

I am growing several strawberry plants near a very sunny window. I am not sure if they benefit from direct sun light (for 4-5 hours each day), or if it’s too warm for them. I noticed that they seem to be growing much faster when I expose them to the sun for several days, however it does get pretty hot (around 75 - 77) compared to the recommended temperature range for wild strawberries. Thank you.

Wild strawberries prefer dimmer light conditions, but a few hours of sunshine can’t hurt anybody. Yours look healthy, so I would not worry. When the temperature rises higher make sure they get enough air movement and that every plant gets enough light.

Soon some of the leaves may start to degrade, then it’s important to cut off the whole leaf stem and new leaves will emerge from the heart of the pod.
