How do I cope with growth of plants while we are on holiday

I have just planted Thai Basel, Red Hot Chili Pepper and Mini Tomato today.

We are going away on holiday on 22nd December for 15 days.

I am concerned that the Basel will over grow while we are away.

Any ideas how I can cope with this?

If the basil have grown so it is ready to harvest, cut plants above the first true leaves and preserve leaves in one way or another.
Then you get back home it will be a good second harvest.

I so wish I saw this before going on a three week vacation last summer. The basil rainforest I came home to was a little much. :slight_smile:
