We are new to click and grow and we have recently had a successful harvest of romaine lettuce but there is something funky going on with our mini yellow tomato plant. It was leaning sideways so we put a stir stick in to hold it up. It is growing a lot of tomatoes. Is that ok? We also saw that where the stem meets the soil it is brown. Is this root rot? Thanks in advance
Your tomato looks actually very healthy, it is nice to see it bearing so much fruits.
The color on the lower part of the stem is actually pigmentation and totally harmless.
Tomato though may need staking, here’s a video how to do that.
Thank you! Staked (chopstick worked great!) and looking good
