Tomato Plant Broke, can it be saved?

Hello everyone! So when I moved my unit, my tomato plan broke from the stem because of the weight of the plant, as it is now very tall. It broke very close to the bottom near the dirt, but it is still attached partially. Is there a way to save the plant from dying? Should I fully detach it and try to bury the stem in case new roots can come out of it?

Thank you,

Hi @Toorcam

That is all right and you can save the plant, by treating it like a stem cutting. Make a new clean cut and stuck it in the same pod, at least 2 cm deep and it will root in again in a couple of weeks. If it is a young plant it is good in one piece as a cutting. If it is a mature plant, just use the tip of the plant and leave just 1 to 2 pairs of true leaves on it.
