Day 40
The plants are keep growing and already show some very small sprouts from which the flowers will probably come out. Unfortunately the one in the middle is not growing yet and it shows some white mist

Dear testes,
Thank you all for sharing your beautiful snapdragon flowers! I believe it is safe to say the testing has been a success, but, let’s try deadheading and see if we’ll get a second round of flowers to bloom.
Deadheading is a simple procedure to remove withered flowers. So, as the flowering is nearly done, please cut flower stems back by at least half the length (do not just remove individual flowers/seedpods). This encourages branching and new growth to from the base of the plant.
Please remember, snapdragon flowers are edible and may be used as garnish.

I don’t think they will rebloom because they are putting a lot of energy into creating seeds and even if I cut them it practically has no energy left. I think that this was am overall amazing and successful experiment and I’m looking forward to another one

@Max, exactly, this is the idea behind deadheading, so that the plant would not use its resources to produce seeds, but would flower again. I agree that it might be a little late to deadhead your plants now, but I still kindly ask you to cut back the flower stalk so that at least 1/3 of the plant continue to grow.
I’ll add a picture here how it should look after deadheading, those pods were 63 days old.
